Interested in giving a talk at Linux Users Victoria?
As current president of LUV, it occurred to me that the interests of the Melbourne Free Software Interest Group overlap with ours to some degree. Are there any members of the Free Software group that would be interested in giving a talk to LUV this year? Our meetings are at Melbourne University on the first Tuesday of every month, and we also have beginner meetings at RMIT on the third Saturday of every month. Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew, I'd be very happy to come along to talk at LUV or if dates don't work out (being in Ballarat), I'm sure I could find someone to. I know that LUV is organised many months in advance, so how about May or June? Regards, Ben

We try to organise talks well in advance but it's often not possible. Also we have some talks which can be rescheduled. For example next month I was probably going to be giving a talk but that's something that I can do another time if we get an offer from someone who isn't available every month - unless of course that time slot has already been given away. What would you like to speak about?
