Thanks again to Matt for tonight's very interesting discussion on encryption and trust with GnuPG! On the point of OpenPGP encryption/signing in Thunderbird, Chris was quite right that a plugin (Enigmail) is still required. I certainly hope to see native support at some point, to make these tools more widespread. Don't forget to jot down 15 December for the next free software discussion group.
