Hi, On Thursday can we go somewhere else for dinner after the meeting? I just got my wisdom teeth out, so can't eat a lot of things. We could go to the China Bar at Melbourne Central, that's very close and has food I can eat. Thanks, Bianca
Also, if anyone is heading home towards Blackburn that I can tag along with for even part of the way it'd be good to know, so I can work out if I can go to dinner or need to have leftovers saved.

Fine by me. Can they fit a dozen (or more) people coming in unannounced? We have been actively promoting and recruiting for this meeting, so it would be good to think about seating capacity when we plan for dinner. You have my sympathy on the post-dental-surgery blues :-) -- \ “Are you pondering what I'm pondering?” “I think so, Brain, but | `\ why would anyone want a depressed tongue?” —_Pinky and The | _o__) Brain_ | Ben Finney
I've never been to their Melbourne Central one, so I have no idea at all. I guess we can take a count on the mailing list and add and an estimate of extras and book, then call to correct around the start of the meeting once we have a clearer idea of numbers. I was actively promoting at LCA, particularly to other women, so hopefully more women will come than normal, that'd help a lot. I've actually been going pretty well post dental surgery, I took the general anaesthetic *really* well, I felt absolutely fine when I woke up. Bianca

Glad to hear you're recovering well Bianca! Would you mind phoning China Bar to see how they'd feel about having 5-15 people turn up? If we can just turn up, that avoids lots of mailing list posts to determine numbers. Calling ahead on the night is still a good idea though. Ben PS. Thanks for making an effort get some other women along!
Ah, I didn't realise their Melbourne Central one was a buffet, which makes it significantly more expensive than I was expecting - $40 a meal instead of $10+. I guess we can just go to the normal place and I'll just grab a drink, eat dinner when I get home - or if I'm up to it eat something there. Thanks anyway :).

The Korean place (Big Ma-Ma) has some noodle dishes iirc, and the agedashi tofu is quite soft - you could probably eat that. Otherwise there's also Classic Curry on Elizabeth St. They're quick, and the curry is good! If you can handle rice, you could get a dhal or something soupy like that. Or just ask for it with no rice. OK, that should be fine. I wasn't really sure what I'd be ok with, but I knew congee would be fine, thus suggesting China bar.. Thanks ^^.
Ah ... I'd also like to avoid a $40 meal if possible.

I like Classic Curry. Very cheap, lots of choice. It is a bit of a hike<http://g.co/maps/qugnh>from RMIT though (and away from the city).
