Thanks to everyone who came along last night, especially as I'd forgotten to send out a reminder! We had six people which provided an interesting discussion on the patents campaign and also on the potential for copyright law changes. Great to meet some new people too. :) Discussion group meetings are monthly. (I take a fairly purist stance and avoid "software as a service" like Google Apps) If anyone uses a software-based calendar, you can now subscribe to: http://www.softwarefreedom.com.au/free-software-melb/freesoftware.ics Hope that does the trick. Sorry I missed the meeting last nite, I had intended to come and had it in my diary for a long time, but a last minute matter disrupted my schedule :( - Will do next one.
