Wikipedia has proved that what sounds ‘pie-in-the-sky’ unlikely can sometimes work and produce the best results. They forked the idea of GNUpedia and made it happen. Now you can learn how to contribute to this great library.
Ben Minerds will guide you on how to contribute to Wikipedia and improve it for all to use. With a brief introduction we might even have you contributing on the very night and grow this information community just a little bit more.
Afterwards we will have the monthly Gnews followed by dinner in North Melbourne.
This is a non-technical event and all are welcome to join in.
Do note that we have adjusted our starting time due to Winter and the ever increasing Melbourne traffic.
Event is held at Electron Workshop at 31 Arden Street on 17th MAy 2018 and will now be opening doors at 6:30pm with start of proceedings at 7pm.
