Well, excellent! I wasn't expecting to get 9 replies! I am keen to meet others. For a short intro: I teach at the UQ Library, and try to focus on FLOSS for data analysis/manipulation. I've been a Linux user and FLOSS advocate for the last ten years, but I'm also interested in the cultural Commons, Open Science, and ethical computing in general (environmental sustainability, privacy, slow tech...). I tried to get a Slow Tech BNE regular gathering going with a friend but I haven't had much success so far. Anyway, I don't particularly have much free time at the moment, but definitely keen to organise at least a little catch up soon, maybe over a drink somewhere? Is The Edge tricky to use now? The recent opening of the Brisbane Tool Library makes it even more attractive. Cheers On 14/2/19 5:04 pm, Steven Hamilton wrote:
Me too. I won’t meet you, but I will watch you all meet from a hedge across the road.

Is anyone still using this mailing list? Wouldn't mind meeting like-minded people in Brisbane!
Cheers
I'm here too, but I don't think anyone is actively using this list as I had forgotten I was on it :)
Cheers,
Dean
